Pond's Aladdin
x Bauernheim's Naima
When the Schuler's announced they were getting out of the llama business, I immediately contacted Maggie about Nina amd Normandie. Nina has always been one of my favorite female llamas as she is so classy looking and very well bred. At age 19 she is still extremely beautiful! She is by Aladdin and out of Naima who was the cornerstone of the Bauernheim program for many years. Naima produced many other great llamas including Legend's Nemaha (Alberta Legend x Bauernheim's Naima).
Over the years, Nina has produced numerous show champions and her offspring reside in some of the most respected breeding programz in the world. Her best known offspring is Bauernheim's Firedancer. Firedancer (Tomolla's Jubiloso x Bauernheim's Nina) is nearly an ALSA Halter Champion and has produced offspring that have not only gone on to be champions, but have been sold as far away as Australia. Nina has also produced Bauernheim's Tre Stelle, Patino's Pride, Bauernheim's Make Mine Mink, Bauernheim's Brass Waves and Bauernheim's Lana Jean. Lana Jean is an ALSA Halter Recognition of Merit and Halter Champion. We own one of her offspring, JNK Eagle's Chantika. Chantika is a keeper female in our herd and is being used in our own breeding program. Tika has won a lot for us in the showring and represents her dam proudly!

Nina has a great personality and is quite a character. Her favorite
Summer activity is getting her legs hosed. She holds them up one at a
time to be hosed and then turns around so you can get all of her. We
really LOVE Nina (she is Jeff's girl and one of Niki's favorites) and
feel so lucky that she lives here now!
