Masterclass Series, designed to give participants a practical foundation in Large Language Models before they move deeper into building AI applications.
In this session, participants will understand what an LLM is, how it processes text, and why models like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and open-source models are transforming the way we build software, automate workflows, and create intelligent applications.
The session will simplify the core ideas behind LLMs, including prompts, tokens, context windows, model responses, temperature, hallucination, and reasoning behavior. Instead of only discussing theory, participants will also get hands-on exposure through Playground, where they can experiment with prompts, observe model outputs, and understand how small changes in instructions can produce very different results.
This masterclass is ideal for beginners and early builders who want to move beyond simply using AI tools and start understanding how LLM-powered applications actually work.
What Participants Will Learn
Session Outcome
By the end of this session, participants will have a clear beginner-friendly understanding of how LLMs work and will be able to experiment with prompts confidently using Playground-0. This session prepares learners for the next stages of the AI Residency, where they will start building real AI applications using APIs, retrieval, tools, and deployment workflows.
This masterclass is part of the AI Residency.
✅ Join the new AI Residency cohort starting Jul 11 to build this end-to-end with guided support, project feedback, and a production-ready workflow—from data ingestion → indexing → retrieval → evaluation → deployment.
