Join us for a practical AI Guild workshop where we will explore Model Context Protocol, known as MCP, through a live working demo.
In this session, we will move beyond theory and see how an AI assistant can connect to tools, resources, and prompts using an MCP client and MCP server.
We will walk through a simple project using Anthropic Claude, MCP Inspector, an MCP server, and an MCP client to understand how modern AI assistants can interact with external systems in a structured way.
This workshop is part of the AI Guild and AI Residency learning ecosystem, designed to help members move from using AI tools to building real AI applications.
What we will cover:
How MCP works in a real project
How MCP Inspector helps test tools, resources, and prompts
How an MCP client connects to an MCP server
How Claude can use MCP capabilities inside an AI application
Why MCP matters for building AI agents and connected AI systems
This session is ideal for AI Guild members, AI Residency learners, developers, data professionals, and anyone serious about understanding how tool-using AI applications are built.
We are CPD Accredited Trainer Provider. Membership id #22917
