Who’s ready for a VERY gay day of screaming, questionable ride photos and repeatedly asking, “Why did I agree to this?!” 🎢😂

BGO is heading to Thorpe Park for a full day at the UK’s most thrilling theme park, and we want a big gang of you coming along for the ride!

🚆 THE PLAN

We’ll meet your BGO host at London Waterloo from 11am, before travelling together by train to Staines at 11:33am. From there, we’ll hop aboard the 950 Thorpe Park Express Bus for the final leg of our journey to the park.

Once we're through the gates, the day is ours! 🙌🏼

Thorpe Park is home to over 25 rides and attractions, including some of the biggest and most adrenaline-inducing rollercoasters in the country.

And sitting rather dramatically above them all is HYPERIA. 🎢⚡

The park's newest major rollercoaster is also the UK's tallest and fastest coaster, standing at a whopping 236ft and reaching speeds of 81mph. With 995 metres of track, Europe's tallest loop and almost 15 seconds of weightlessness, this golden monster is going straight onto the BGO hit list.

We'll also have plenty of time to tackle some Thorpe Park legends:

🔥 Stealth – 0–80mph in just 1.8 seconds, firing you 205ft into the air.

🌋 Nemesis Inferno – feet dangling as we twist, loop and dive around 750 metres of track.

🐝 THE SWARM – a winged coaster reaching almost 60mph, with riders suspended either side of the track.

😱 SAW – The Ride – horror-themed chaos featuring a 100ft drop.

🌀 Colossus – the world's first ten-looping rollercoaster. Yes, TEN times upside down.

💦 Plus water rides, drop towers and plenty of other attractions for anyone whose stomach hasn't already filed a formal complaint.

🌈 MORE THAN JUST THE RIDES

As always, our BGO days are about spending time together and making new connections as much as the activity itself. Whether you're coming with friends, arriving solo or joining us for your very first BGO event, you're very welcome.

We'll explore the park together, although nobody is expected to go on every ride. If Hyperia looks like your idea of hell rather than heaven, that's absolutely fine! 😂 There'll be plenty to do throughout the day and opportunities to split into smaller groups depending on what everyone fancies.

We'll be staying right through until the park closes, squeezing in as much as we possibly can before regrouping and making our way back via Staines and straight into London.

We strongly recommend booking your Thorpe Park ticket in advance, as admission is subject to availability and advance tickets are usually cheaper than buying on the day.

You'll also need to cover your own train and bus travel, as well as any food, drinks or extras purchased inside the park.
