About

⛰️ Shalford Three Peaks Hike | Sat 27 June 🌿🥾

Join us on Saturday 27th June as we head out to Shalford in Surrey for the Shalford Three Peaks route, a scenic countryside adventure packed with rolling hills, woodland paths, open views, and that lovely “just escaped London” feeling.

We’ll be meeting at London Blackfriars Station at 09:30am, travelling down together and arriving at 11:11am ready to get moving. The route is 8.35 miles and should take around 3 hours 43 minutes, making it a really great option for those wanting a solid hike with a few rewarding climbs, but without it becoming a full-day trek.

The Shalford Three Peaks is a popular circular walk in the Surrey Hills National Landscape, known for its mix of wooded trails, countryside scenery, and a trio of hill climbs that give the route its name. The area around Shalford is especially lovely, with the village sitting near the River Wey and the Tillingbourne Valley, surrounded by classic Surrey greenery and historic countryside charm.

Expect a route with a bit of variety: leafy paths, open stretches, some uphill effort, and scenic views that make the climbs well worth it. Shalford itself is one of those picturesque Surrey spots that feels peaceful, quaint and beautifully tucked away from the city. 🌳☀️

As part of our new tiered membership structure, this hike will cost £5 for members on the Free membership tier. This helps cover admin costs and offers some compensation for the BGO event planners who put time into organising these community adventures.
