Trecena of Kan — Awaken the Inner Sacred Fire

The Trecena of Kan is a 13-day alchemical portal in the Chol Q’ij Mayan calendar — a time to ignite your life force, awaken the serpent within, and allow transformation to move through your body, mind, heart, and spirit.

Kan is the energy of the serpent.

It is the awakened kundalini, the primal life force that rises from root to crown. It is the spiral of creation, the keeper of sensuality, wisdom, and sacred power. In Mayan cosmology, the serpent is a bridge between worlds — gliding between Earth and Sky, reminding us that transformation is both a shedding and a becoming.

Kan teaches us that true transformation is born in the body — in the willingness to shed what no longer serves, to move with the pulse of life, and to channel our inner fire in service of our highest path.

In this Cacao Dieta, we walk alongside two ancient teachers:

🤎 Cacao, medicine of the open and courageous heart

Together, they invite us to live in embodied power and tenderness — igniting the fire at our core, moving energy through the body with grace, and opening the heart so that passion and purpose can flow as one.

We are lovingly guided by AumRak, Guardian of the Mayan lineage and spiritual bridge between worlds. Through her teachings, we remember that the serpent’s dance is the movement of life force itself — and that cacao softens this fire, allowing her to nourish rather than consume.

Throughout the trecena, we will focus on the spinal column and energetic channels — the pathways of kundalini, the river of light that connects Earth to Sky within us. We allow cacao to anchor us in love as we awaken the serpent’s medicine, transmuting tension into vitality, fear into freedom, and desire into devotion.

This is a journey of embodied awakening.
