📅 Itinerary – Sinharaja Rainforest Educational Expedition
Day 01 (05th June) – Journey to Sinharaja
- 09:00 a.m. – Departure from Colombo
- Arrive at Kudawa → Transfer by jeep to Martin’s Lodge
- Lunch at the lodge
- Late afternoon: Introductory briefing & first educational workshop
- Dinner & overnight stay at Martin’s Lodge
Day 02 (06th June) – Full Day Birding & Training
- Early morning start: Birding & wildlife field training in Sinharaja
- Practical learning sessions on identification, calls, and behavior
- Evening: Group discussion & interactive Q&A with the expert
- Dinner & overnight stay at Martin’s Lodge
Day 03 (07th June) – Final Training & Return
- Morning: Birding walk & final field training
- 01:00 p.m. – Departure from Martin’s Lodge

❌ What’s Not Included
The following are not part of the package:
- Personal expenses (snacks, drinks, tips, etc.), Travel insurance, Camera gear or equipment rentals. Anything not specifically mentioned under inclusions.
🛡️ Safety & Health Notes
- Moderate trekking is required inside the rainforest on uneven terrain. Participants should be reasonably fit for walking for several hours a day. Conditions may include humidity, leech, and sudden tropical showers. Recommended: insect repellent, rain gear, sturdy trekking boots, first aid supplies, and personal medication if needed.
💳 Booking & Payment Policy
- Register via the official NAS>COM link, Complete full payment within 7 days of booking through a Sri Lankan bank account, Payments are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend at the last minute, you may nominate another participant to take your place. However, please note that AWPC WILDHUB will not be responsible for finding replacements once registration closes, as seats are strictly limited.
- A booking fee of $29 will secure your seat and will be deducted from the total package cost. The remaining balance is payable directly to our local partner in Sri Lanka.

🛡️ Before You Travel
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the organiser’s control — including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, or other force majeure events — AWPC WILDHUB reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the expedition. In such cases, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer to a rescheduled date.
