The 15 Points of the First Page of Likutei Moharan
1. Through Torah, all prayers and requests are fulfilled.
  - Rabbi Nachman begins by explaining that through Torah, all prayers (tefillot) and personal requests (bakashot) are fulfilled. Additionally, Torah elevates chen (favor) and prestige, both spiritually and in human interactions.
2. Torah as the distinction between exile (*galut) and redemption (geulah).*
  - Exile is characterized by the fall of Israel's favor, while redemption elevates this favor. Torah acts as the catalyst for this shift, restoring the lost spiritual energy and prestige of the Jewish people.
3. Chochmah (Divine wisdom) is the soul and vitality of all existence.
  - Chochmah, the first revealed Sefirah, represents the core light, soul, and vitality (chiyut) within all of creation. It is both the neshama (soul) of existence and the divine inspiration within everything. Connecting to Chochmah aligns us with this vitality and infuses life with clarity.
4. Chochmah as a guiding light, likened to the sun.
  - Chochmah is compared to the sun, which illuminates the path, providing guidance, clarity, and direction. Just as the sun prevents stumbling in darkness, Chochmah reveals the way forward.
5. Yaakov represents Chochmah.
  - Yaakov embodies Chochmah by securing the birthright from Esav. This victory channels the light of Chochmah toward tikkun (rectification), ensuring that creation moves toward coherence and harmony rather than chaos.
6. Chet: The letter of vitality and life.
  - The letter Chet symbolizes Chiyut (life force), representing the vitality and soulful energy that stems from Chochmah. It is the light and soul within everything.
7. Nun: The vessel for receiving Chochmah.
  - The letter Nun represents Malchut, the receptive aspect, akin to the moon reflecting the light of the sun. Together, Chet and Nun form the word Chen (favor), symbolizing the relationship between Chochmah (soulful wisdom) and Malchut (receptivity).
8. Malchut as the heart’s alignment.
  - Malchut represents the heart, which must be aligned to receive the soulful light of Chochmah. When the heart is open, clear, and focused, it reflects this divine wisdom and vitality, just as the moon reflects the sun’s light.
9. The two moons: Holiness vs. Klipa.
  - There are two Malchut dimensions—two moons:
    1. The Malchut of holiness aligns with Chochmah, channeling the light of vitality into every aspect of life.
    2. The Malchut of klipa (the heart of Esav) reflects disconnection and self-centered desires, drawing from superficial and fleeting sources of vitality.
10. The Yetzer Tov is youthful, wise, and poor.
   - The Yetzer Tov (inclination toward good) is described as young (renewing itself constantly), wise (aligned with Divine wisdom), and poor (having nothing of its own, completely dependent on Chochmah). It channels vitality by embracing the newness of each moment.
11. The Yetzer Hara is old, foolish, and arrogant.
   - The Yetzer Hara (inclination toward evil) clings to patterns of the past (old), rejects Divine wisdom (foolish), and seeks to rule through strategy, ego, and scarcity thinking (arrogant).
12. Torah study with power and passion transforms the heart.
   - Engaging in Torah study with vitality (koach) and passion channels the soulful light of Chochmah into the heart. This alignment illuminates the path forward and energizes the individual with divine inspiration.
13. Infusing words with soulful light and favor (*chen).*
   - When Torah study empowers the heart, the words of prayer and requests become vessels that channel the soulful light of Chochmah. This light—sweet, divine, and inspiring—creates space within the heart of the listener or receiver, influencing them to accept the request or prayer.
14. Creating a spiritual mark (*tav).*
   - The combination of Chet (wisdom) and Nun (receptivity) creates a Tav, a spiritual mark or impression in the heart of the receiver. This mark signifies readiness to receive and act upon the request or prayer.
15. The formula of Nachat: Words received with pleasantness and ease.
   - When Chet, Nun, and Tav combine, they form Nachat (pleasantness). This formula describes how prayers and requests—infused with the soulful light of Chochmah—are effortlessly received and fulfilled, creating divine alignment, peace, and abundance.
