A JOURNEY THROUGH THE WILD, THE OCEAN AND THE UNKNOWN

This a trip I did myself without a group, it was a different kind of journey from anything I've experienced before and I am so excited to make it my first Matt's Travel's trip.

This is not a traditional group trip.
It’s an immersive expedition designed for people who crave adventure, human connection, breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable moments — while travelling in comfort and safety.

Over 6 carefully curated days, you’ll journey through Mozambique and South Africa, experiencing the intensity of African wildlife, the raw beauty of the ocean and the magic that happens when strangers become part of the same story.

From breath taking safari drives in Kruger National Park to hidden beaches along the Mozambican coast, every part of this experience has been intentionally designed to reconnect you with life, nature and presence.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 — ARRIVAL TO MOZAMBIQUE

Arrival in Mozambique, Maputo airport and private transfer to the hotel.

After check-in and time to settle, the group will gather for a welcome dinner and opening briefing.

Depending on arrival times, we may also explore parts of Maputo for a first cultural introduction to the city.

DAY 2 — JOURNEY TO THE WILD

After an early breakfast, we begin our overland journey towards South Africa.

Crossing the border and travelling through changing landscapes, the experience itself becomes part of the adventure.

Upon arrival at the safari lodge, there will be time to relax before our first sunset game drive in Kruger National Park.

DAY 3 — THE BIG 5 SAFARI

A full day dedicated to the African wilderness.

We begin before sunrise for an early morning game drive — one of the best moments to witness wildlife activity.

Throughout the day, guests will have time to rest, enjoy the lodge and experience the magic of the African bush before another safari experience later in the day.

This is one of the emotional highlights of the journey.

DAY 4 — JOURNEY TO THE OCEAN

After breakfast, we travel back towards Mozambique and enter the stunning Maputo National Park region.

The atmosphere shifts from the intensity of safari life to the calmness of the ocean.

Upon arrival at the beach lodge, guests can slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy a breathtaking sunset by the sea.

During this time by the ocean you will experience Paragliding over the stunning coastline.

DAY 5 — OCEAN SAFARI

Today is a special day at sea:

* Swimming with dolphins in their natural habitat
* whale watching
* Snorkelling in coral
* beach time

As the journey approaches its end, we gather for a final dinner and closing moment together.

DAY 6 — FINAL DAY OR JUST DAY 6...

A final morning by the beach before check-out and transfer to Maputo airport.

After 6 days of intense adventure, it's time for those who want to extend and relax. Where? This part remains a secret, but we promise an exclusive hidden gem few people know, even fewer ever reach...
