Great work gets you the interview. Presence gets you the job.
You know your work is good. You freeze when it's time to talk about it. You watch others network effortlessly and feel slightly sick.
It doesn't have to feel like this. I promise you it doesn't.
10 years ago, I could draw for twelve hours straight, but I could not walk up to someone at an industry event and tell them what I made.
Today I work at Nas Daily. I pitch creative ideas to global clients, manage relationships, and decide who gets opportunities. And I can tell you exactly what gets a quiet, talented person noticed - because I've been on both sides of the table.
This workshop is for you if: You're a student or early-career creative - design, animation, illustration, film, photography, any creative discipline.
What we'll cover:
→ Why being the most talented person in the room is not enough - and what actually gets you hired
→ How to get over imposter syndrome
→ The introvert's advantage
→ How to walk into a room of strangers and leave with a real contact
→ What people on the hiring side are actually looking for (told to you by people who do the hiring)
→ How to follow up so you're remembered - without being annoying
Plus: a live conversation with 1–2 industry guests - people who hire creatives and can give insights on what makes a young artist stand out, and the mistakes that quietly cost people the job.
This will be an in-person intimate workshop of 20 people at the NAS Daily office, with the opportunity to interact with industry specialists.
Light refreshments, water, and healthy snacks will be included.
