"Laguna Sucia" - Deep in the Patagonian wilderness, a dramatic lagoon you earn trekking (Fine Art Framed Print, limited edition)

Patagonia is one of South America's biggest natural museum for hiking lovers like me and you. This lagoon is called "Dirty Lagoon" but its deep blue water and rugged earth tone create a striking contrast (far away from dirt). It's not easy to reach "Laguna Sucia". I did it in 2021 after a 22 kilometres and 9 hour round-expedition from the small mountain village of El Chaltén (named Argentina's Trekking Capital). Before drones were prohibited in the area, flying mine I discovered this very different dramatic aerial perspective and one of South America's wild treasures. Depending on the time of the day, the season and the forecast, the whole scene changes constantly. Shadows and colors blend with the raw beauty. The mirage as the reward for those who seek something more than a glaciar adventurous walk.
