Teresa of The Resolute Mind created the HypnoTattoo Comfort Method™ to help you feel calmer, steadier, and more in control before and during your tattoo.

Hi, I’m Teresa — a Certified Consulting Hypnotist and former U.S. nurse with 15 years in healthcare. I know what fear does to the body: • shoulders tighten • breath gets shallow • pain feels louder than it needs to The HypnoTattoo Comfort Method™ blends hypnosis, visualization, and nervous system calm so your tattoo experience feels more grounded, more manageable, and far less overwhelming.

How The Resolute Mind supports you

1:1 support before your tattoo
Perfect if you want to work through fear of pain, needles, past bad experiences, or the urge to tense up. You’ll leave with tools you can use on tattoo day.

Live support during your session
Best if you want a calm presence in the room while you’re getting tattooed. I’ll help you settle your breathing, ease tension, and stay steady.

The Resolute Mind offers private pre-tattoo sessions and in-session support for clients who want a more comfortable tattoo experience. Who This Is For: -You feel nervous about tattoos -You tend to tense up or hold your breath -You've had a painful experience before -You're doing a longer or more intense session -You have chosen a sensitive body location -You want the experience to feel empowering, not like something to survive Quick FAQs: 1) Will I be unconscious? No. You'll be relaxed and focused, aware and in control the entire time. 2) Can hypnosis guarantee zero pain? No approach removes all sensation. Pain is information from the body. Hypnosis can turn down the dial on intensity and distress for many people. It's a complement to your artist's process, not a replacement for it, and not a substitute for medical care. 3) What if I can't be hypnotized? Most people can enter hypnosis when they feel safe and open. You don't need to try hard, just be willing. 4) Who is this not for? Please note: Hypnosis is not recommended for individuals with serious mental illness, including but not limited to Major Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, or Borderline Personality Disorder.
