LGBT+ Art Tour at Tate Britain

Join us for a tour exploring LGBT+ lives and experiences through British art. We’ll look at themes of identity, love, gender expression, friendship, and chosen family, while considering how LGBT+ people have shaped, and been represented within, British culture.

From centuries of hidden or coded histories to the struggles and activism of the 20th century, and the greater visibility and rights of today, we’ll explore the stories behind the art and the changing social landscape in which it was created.

After the tour, you're welcome to join us for an optional drink at a local pub to chat about what we learned.
