The Concept

Calling all theatre fans or those who are theatre-curious. TRYBZ Theatre Nights is about making theatre accessible, creating a welcoming community to go with, and broadening your horizons to productions and theatres you may not know about.

With the help of Matthew P (theatre reviewer and mega-fan) we will be bringing you a range of theatre options from new West End shows to up-and-coming fringe productions.

This won't just be about going to a show, but about building a community of theatre fans, as we will also be having pre- and post-show meet-ups to discuss all things theatre and beyond.

The Show

So without further ado, we are bringing you a brand-new musical adaptation of one of cinema’s most iconic road trips…

Thelma & Louise at the Young Vic, starring Amy Lennox as Thelma and Rachel Tucker as Louise.

Based on the Oscar and Golden Globe-winning film, Thelma & Louise has been reimagined by original writer Callie Khouri as a new musical, with music and lyrics by Neko Case and direction by Trip Cullman.

On a whim, Louise invites her best friend Thelma for a spontaneous weekend getaway. After an ill-fated encounter at a roadside honkytonk, their lifelong friendship becomes something dangerous, defiant and unbreakable.

This is friendship, freedom and full-throttle rebellion, all propelled by a soaring musical score. More than thirty years after the film first became a cultural phenomenon, this world-premiere production opens the Young Vic’s 2026/27 season and brings the story roaring onto the stage.

And then there is the casting. Amy Lennox brings major musical-theatre credentials from shows including Cabaret and Kinky Boots, while Rachel Tucker is a West End powerhouse with credits including Wicked and Come From Away.

This is the kind of big, bold, emotional musical night that feels made for a group outing. We have secured seats together in row E, so this is a brilliant chance to catch a major new musical right at the start of its journey.

By leveraging group bookings and insider knowledge, we will be able to bring ticket prices below the usual publicly available prices. We'll always aim to bring you decent views: nobody likes a restricted view!

Tickets, Cancellations & Refunds

All TRYBZ tickets are non-refundable.
