
The primary focus here, truthfully, is for me to gain clarity in my own thoughts, to organize the tormentous chaos into something slightly more manageable.  If in doing so I can help others do the same in their lives, I will have achieved the secondary purpose of this project.  If together we can turn the horrific experiences of war, the collapse of self, and the uncertainty that lies ahead into something that breeds resilience, strength, and virtue, I have achieved a vision I can only dream of as I type these words.

This is a true labor of love (and fear) that is one part tragic, one part hopeful, and ten parts real. It is a vulnerable window into my soul, as well as a toolbox for myself and for those whom I love to implement in their lives.

It is essentially a public journal of the past year, ideally read in chronological order, but will develop into a broad range of other topics that we can dissect and discuss with integrity and respect. 

I hope you can find yourself in some of my words and I look forward with curiosity and excitement to finding myself in yours!
